Tyler, The Creator Delivers a Christmas Surprise with Kendrick Lamar Remix and Sets Stage for an Exciting 2025

Tyler, The Creator has capped off a monumental 2024 with a holiday gift for his fans: a remix of Kendrick Lamar’s hit track “Hey Now” titled “That Guy.” The release comes with an accompanying music video and marks yet another high point in a year filled with achievements for the West Coast rapper.

A Remix to Remember

The idea for “That Guy” originated from a fan’s request just a month prior, and Tyler wasted no time delivering. The track’s lyrics brim with Tyler’s signature cleverness and confidence, featuring lines like:
“Hey now, say now, get sticky like a hun bun/ You will never be the main guy, you’re a plus-one/ 300k in four days Chromakopia/ 12 days gold I ain’t even drop deluxe one.”

Tyler also used the remix to reflect on his appearance at Kendrick’s The Pop Out concert in June, rapping:
“Lil bunny hop out, you seen me at the Pop Out/ Pandemonium screaming like they brought Pac out.”

The accompanying music video, shot in his hometown of Hawthorne, California, is a vibrant homage to his roots and a reminder of his unapologetic authenticity.
